Hi amigo,
Don' t think that Jeff alone will perform The Man With The Golden Arm cos it's basicly a Jack's song, but who knows.
About the comics, all is out of print apart Guffs.
I'd reather look around and try to find old ones rather than reading them on a computer screen.
Keep us informed about the Edinbourgh gig _________________ http://uberaffe.bandcamp.com |

hey keithos, welcome sadly I'm yet to hear of any one tat managed to get hold of these earlier comics - jeff needs to compile them all together in a compilation like he did with tapes from the crypt - a kind of graphic novel / best of type thing _________________

Is Jack not going to be with Jeff at all on his tour then? That would probably rule out the chance of a History of Punk performance too. |
My bad by stand alone i thought you meant Jeff solo gig _________________ http://uberaffe.bandcamp.com |

There are three copies of the Austin Diary at this address-- one signed and two unsigned. They think they can get more but they may be out of print. Also a great Jeff interview which will help you appreciate all he goes through to bring out his comics.
So whoever wants them go here:

Keithos - I shall be there! Convinced my girlfriend to go, but more surprisingly, a French, jazz-loving, flemenco guitar playing ex-housemate. No idea what he shall make of it!
By the way, I saw a guy in a pub in Oxford last night with a Misty's Big Adventure t-shirt (related bacause they are supporting Jeff on Monday). It was very surprising and cool! Was gonna go and have a chat with him, but by the time I was pissed enough to strike a chat he'd gone, haha! |

That could be my favourite Smiths lyric. It means a lot to me, and really makes me think about how I live my life (i.e I am a pussy). _________________ myspace.com/frozymusic |

I try noy to be. I randomly talked to some guy from my school at a flaming lips gig just because I'd seen him wearing a VU shirt. I hate being shy, so I try to make myself talk to people. _________________ Life is too short to refrain from eating jam out of the jar |

What's the camera protocal at gigs? I have a lovely SLR camera, but I don't know how to get the flash to not go off. Is a camera flash a big no-no at a gig? I need to know for tonight - please help! |

It's pretty easy to get to. From Waverly walk up North Bridge to the Royal Mile. Turn left down the Royal Mile until a crossroads. Turn right here up St Mary's St and then left down Holyrood Road. The Bongo Club is on the left hand side. If it's as bitterly windy as it is now then just get a taxi as it'll probably take about 20-30mins to walk. The website is http://www.thebongoclub.co.uk/content/contact.htm. I won't be recording the show, though I may take my camera if noone suggests a flash is a bad thing at the gig! |

I'm not too shy, really. If he'd have been sat at the bar instead of the corner I probably would have said something! |

Nah, i won't go mad with it! I went to see Mogwai a month ago, and the security guy nearly took my camera away from me after one shot with the flash... Nevermind the strobe, eh! |

The show was awesome! Here's a playlist:
1 - English Pounds
2 - A Jack song? Starts by talking about signs
3 - If Life Exists
4 - Something Good
5 - Creeping Brain
6 - My note says R B R. What song could that possibly be?!
7 - Williamsburg Will Oldham Horror
8 - Man with the Golden Arm (Hoorah!)
9 - Anxiety Attack
10 - Communism in China
11 - Back When I Was 31
12 - A song off of City and Eastern Songs. One of the rockin' ones. Can't remember which. |
