That was a lovely afternoon.
After a mishap with their driver, the band (minus Jeff and Louie) were very, very late. See what happens when Nick isn't there to look after them!!!
Scrappy from the London band Milk Kan played a few songs first. Was okay.
Then Professor Louie played, with Jeff backing him up on a drum and some percussion and guitar for one song. It was absolutely brilliant. So good. Dave, Jack and Helen arrived about 2/3 into it.
I wandered over to the merch table, said hi to Jack and bought the single (which is great!), a shirt and Fuff 6.
So, then, after a quick setup, the band played. The didn't do the 2 sets, but played a few of Jeff's songs, then a load of Crass, then more of Jeff's.
From what I can remember, they played:
Amanda
Objectified
Systematic Death
End Result
Banned From The Roxy
Walls
The Gasman Cometh
Punk Is Dead
Big A Little A
They Always Knew
Moving
Back When I was 4
When Life Exists
History Of Writing (video)
I Saw A Hippie Girl (video)
An amazing new song (that I think was Jack's)
Another Professor Louie song
They're in the wrong order, and there could be more.
Anyway, it was a lovely afternoon, nice to see the band and Nick again. _________________ myspace.com/frozymusic |
