The other day I ran into this compilation album in a record shop. It was released earlier this year on the German label Trikont (never heard of them before) & Jeff drew the fab cover art! It features a really moving song from the indie rock fortune cookie fortune cassette, called "Everyone's honest", along with songs by Dufus, Double Deuce, Calvin Johnson, Huggabroomstik, The Babyskins....
Definitely worth a listen (and much more!).

Yeah, months ago I saw this in a shop and recognised the picture, and bought it instantly. It's absolutely amazing. I already knew a few songs on there (Dufus, Kimya, Andre...). There were so many bands that I'd heard of but had never been able to check out (The Microphones. Prewar Yardsale, Double Deuce...). I still listen to it all the time. _________________ myspace.com/frozymusic |

It was the same thing for me! My eyes immediately got caught by the very inimitable Jeff Lewis drawing...! And the music is of course very good. |
