So, I've started a new college and I knew practically NO-ONE at all (and everyone else had huge groups of friends- it was all very depressing). I eventually made some, but none who liked ANY of the same music as me. So last week I was in my class and I heard someone say "Herman Dune"! My ears pricked up and I shouted accross the class "DID SOMEONE JUST SAY HERMAN DUNE!" Anyway, we got chatting, and she's in a few of my classes, also a huge Jeff fan. Hooray! Then today in history a (very pretentious- wears sunglasses when it's raining) boy near me was wearing a Jeff shirt! I freaked out a bit and got chatting to him. Not an obsessive, but his girlfriend's a big fan.

So...Jeff is started to validate my college choice, which was exactly what I was looking for. It's the perfect thing to chat about, and makes me seem more interesting than my clothes would suggest. I am interesting dammit!

It's a big deal for me.

Well this is my 5th week, and I've only just met these people. I was really starting to worry that it wouldn't happen. It's quite an "alternative" city though. At least that was the plan.

i also freaked last because a guy of my class (normally he listen to black flag etc.) bought the mas cambios record of herman dune....that was really amazing
