Hi I^m new here and i like this forum...i read now some comments and i like this forum.....i was on the jeff lewis gig in zürich(he was supporting this other guy) and i really liked the show....i have also all the three offical records and the comics and i really love the stuff....so this was my second comment and i just wanted so say hello....ah yeah im from liechtenstein

i was on this concert because i wanted to see jeff and jack...nthing against adam but i saw at least 4 times and there is nothing special about him for me now

Héhé lol, i like his first album and a few tunes from the 2nd and 3rd, i don't like the last one, seeing him live made me think of Mick Jagger, he just made me laught, in a bad way! I can't enjoy such arrogant people, and Adam's ego will make the planet sink down the unvierse someday

i dont think adam actually has an ego! i grew up a couple towns away from him, and knew him a little via the local record shop where eveyone hung out, and he was always very nice(this was around the moldy peaches era).now an again i run into him in brooklyn, and when i told him i was so proud someone from westchester made it so big, he just blushed and thanked me and gave me a hug.

Yeah i may be wrong, that's just an opinion i had from reading interviews and stuffs. I'm glad to hear that Terricloth. I'll cut myself a finger off as a punishment !

Id certainly agree with that, Ive listened to a lot more of Kimya than I have of Adam but her stuff is so much better, from what you say about Adam though he sounds a nice enough guy

I'm sure Adam is lovely in person. However, when I saw him at Oran Mor in Glasgow, he did seem a wee bit egotistical. He seemed a bit drunk, and he kept getting girls on the stage and giving them kisses and stuff. Just seemed slightly sleezy and inappropriate, like he was there just for the groupies or something. I found his songs a bit too coarse as well. The Moldy Peaches were fun, but he seems to have crossed the line between twisted and funny, into twisted and sick. But it's only my opinion!

I think Kimya is ace. Very personal, mind. When she sings live, it's like she's telling all her darkest secrets, and makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, because I'm only her fan, and not her best mate!

Like I said, that just my take...

I did hear stories about Adam from someone who is a friend of Kimyas and who knew Adam that seemed to back up the whole egotistical arguement
