Wow I was browsing though the cds in a charity shop today ( a bargain at 25p for singles and 99p for albums) expecting to see the usual bargin bin rubbish when I came across one of my greatest charity shop finds! I saw the jeff lewis 'end result' promo single picking myself off the ground i went on to find a few other items you wouldn't expect to find
which leads me to the question, whats your greatest charity shop find? _________________

I used to work/volunteer helping to price books in a charity bookshop and in amongst a bag of scruffy 2000ads and Judge Dredd Megazines I found an original American Splendor comic from sometime in the early/mid 80s in really good condition.
I didn't keep it for myself but instead of sticking it in the 50p box or straight out into the recycle someone ended up buying it for about £30.
I still count it as a good find by me. |
