Hi. welcome to the board!

I like Jeff (obv) and also some of the other New York antifolk stuff like Toby Goodhsank, Schwervon!, Kimya Dawson n stuff.

Also listening to a lot of Cat Power, Bonnie Prince Billy and Pajo at the moment.

And I'm liking other folky stuff too, like Chris TT and Fairport Convention (those two are artists are not alike at all, but they're both different strains of folk, I guess).

And I'm off to see a local Edinburgh guy play tonight called Little Pebble, doing his weirdo neo-folk (or something)...

I enjoy a good of bit of crazy German breakbeat-techno digital hardcore - Bomb 20, Atari Teenage Riot, I like old school punk and post-punk - Wire, The Clash. But I also love beautiful and pastoral music like Nick Drake, or fey and twee indie pop like Belle and Sebastian. And more than ten years on I still love Britpop, like Blur, Elastica or Suede. I like bleepy electronica and some types of drum'n'bass (Asian Dub Foundation) folktronica , breakcore. I like post-rock, like Mogwai, and I love comic songwriters like Tom Lehrer.

I like turning on the radio and hearing new stuff and also seeking out the latest thing, worried I'll be left behind. I like telling people I liked bands before they were famous (I bought the first Snow Patrol, before they were rubbish) and also about bands that should have been massive but weren't (Six by Seven, Ultrasound, My Vitriol, Cay). I also like pretending not to like the pop music on Radio 1 but secretly enjoying it.

Moe, we're pretty identical.
I bought the new Arcade Fire today (listening/loving right now), along with 3 Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers albums (thanks for introducing them to me by the way Very Happy).
And I also LOVE Herman Dune. I like Giant a lot, but it's nothing compared to Mas Cambios or Not On Top.
Other things I love: Pixies, The Wave Pictures, Li-Lund, The Flaming Lips, Dufus, Velvet Underground, Kimya Dawson, Misty's Big Adventure and many, many more.
