I saw the Wave Pictures at the End Of The Road festival yesterday.
Along with Jeff, Misty's Big Adventure, Herman Dune...
Got to see lovely Nick too.

More news to come this evening. Wink

I don't know. They're good.
I love the ending backing vocals to We Dress Up Like Snowmen. But yeah, I prefer the old sound.

The Wave Pictures were on Marc 'Lard' Riley's show on BBC 6 Music tonight (that's a digital radio station in the UK).

You can listen to it by going to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.shtml?http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/index.shtml?button

You then need to select 6 Music, then Marc Riley's Brain Surgery for Thursday. Programmes are available for a week from when they're first broadcast.

Incidentally, Marc Riley used to be in the Fall....and he said tonight he has Jeff Lewis on next Wednesday.

You all know about http://www.myspace.com/haymanwatkinstroutandlee , right? I know Nic knows! Good stuff! Sounds like Crosbie Stills Nash and Young, to me! I say all this, cos Dave Tattenshall is part of it all...

Not yet, I'll have a look for it tonight, hopefully.

And I love HMT&L. Jam Eater Blues is my favourite song of the moment. Can't wait for the album.
Trying to get them to play on Simple Folk, but we'll have to be extra nice. Dillon (simple folk on here) recorded a Wave Pictures show in Brighton, but never aired it, so there's a small chance that David will be annoyed with us.
I'll try to get that show from him, and uploaded in the next few weeks. Wink

Hello! The Wave Pictures are featured in the new issue of AppleJack! It's a long interview I did with the band in Sunderland a couple of months ago. The fanzine is in French. And it's free (feel free to send me some candy, a letter or a stamp though)! Please message me if you'd like to get a copy (I live in the UK). xxx
