That is UNBELIEVABLE!

You Frenchies are very lucky people! You get hideous amounts of Jeff-love!

I can't stop looking at it. A-mazing.

aha i defo tease Smile
The good news is that i shot videos (with my camera) for a lot of songs, i didn't want to watch the show via a little screen so i aimed randomly, the result is no so bad, hte sound is quite crappy but you'll enjoy it.
I'll upload it asap.

Here is my Tours review :

Ema and me took the train from Rennes to Tours.
As i don't like to be late we arrived at the venue one hour before the time (sic)
We were standing next to the door when a girl passed by with a box with blue shirts in it, it was a clear clue, The Jeff Lewis Band is arriving.
Jack passed the door and said hello to us, followed by his brother and Dave.
As they arrived around 9 there will be no soundcheck.
Jack deployed the merch on the stage, Jeff cds, Jack cd, Meteorites shirts, badges and Fuffs.
Jack asked us to write down 8 songs that we want to see, they are planing to play 16.
We choose : Mystic CT, So long, Texas, springtime, the miner and the magic rock, beach party, artland, kids on tour.
A few minutes later the show began.
Jeff opened with "It's not impossible", then this new song "i pick the winner", awesome tune, very powerfull. Jack was rocking so hard that he loose his cap while shaking his head!
The room was full of electricity and heat, the band seemed to enjoy playing tonight and the audience enjoyed that too.
I can't remeber in witch order the songs were played.
Bibasse arrived after three songs, late as usual, Jack saw him coming and sayed something like, "he's finally here" Smile
They played Alphabet, you don't have to be a scientist, it was the first time i saw this song, and i was pretty happy cos it's one of the first Jeff song i heard, there was a key board rhytm while Jeff was playing.
Art land, they always knew and something good were played in a row, Dave was hitting his drums like a mad man, it was one of the good thing about this place, the set was pretty small so we could enjoy Dave playing more than the usual.
Jeff started to play So long (Ema's choice) his distortion pedal was on, so Jack sneak in and tried to tunr the distortion off (and leave the volume on, obviously...) but he just turned the volume down, Jeff stopped the song and thanked Jack who tried to explain what he was trying to do, that was funny.
The band start to play Egyptian Reggea, i never heard this tune, it's a very good cover, even if i don't know the original song.
Time machine, posters, some new songs....
Jeff couldn't play any video because he can't get up on something, too bad.
At one point Jeff told us that there will be only two more songs, the audience wanted more and yelled, so Jeff told that there will be three.
The song i wanted to see the most was Mystic CT, i was so happy when i heard the first notes of it, i had shivers down my spine and maybe a little tear in an eye, the song was sooooooo great, best song of the set for me.
Kids on tour, shadow party (Jack wanted the song to be slower, so he tried to slow the whole thing but the drums didn't follow, it was a "fight" between Dave and Jack, witch Dave will refer to it later as a dream (nightmare? Smile )
Disconsulated.
The three songs were played and we were about to discovered that a lot are yet to come :

Don't be scared, Life, if you shoot the head you kill the ghoul, journey to the center of the earth (This one is so great live, it was a great moment, especially when the music stop and Jack ask Jeff where they are and Jeff answered "center of the earth"!!, i like it!)
graveyard, new songs, wave picture cover, a crass cover (not sure but might be a new song too)
If life exits (slow version), no lsd tonight, roll bus roll, arrow.
They were about to leave, Jeff unplugged his guitar when Jack stared "coming back from Tewas, Jeff pluged back and they served us an amazing vesrion of Texas, Jeff was screaming all song long.
They played a few more songs, and were about to leave, again.
Then Jeffrey started to sing Poor Cow, Jack joined and start to sing along, There was harmonies, it was very very very good, i love when Jack sings accapela.
Jeff got up on a crate and play Creeping brain.
Then it was over......it really was.
I had the feeling that it will never stop, acvtually it hardly does.
The crowd seemed to enjoyed it a lot.
There was a rush on cd and shirts, people got record signed and chat with the guys.
Dave was stuck with a bunch of drunk fans, funny from my position, maybe less funny for him.
When it was more calm we had a chat with Jeffrey who invited us to go upstairs with them if we want, so we went.
They ate, we talked, that was great.
We stay there for a while then the guy who owns the place told us that we got to leave, so we did.
We all said goodbye, shooke hands, hugged, kiss (for the ladies)

It was by far the best Jeff Lewis Band gig i went to, actually it's better everytime, can't wait for the next one.....

Maybe Ema and Bibasse have more to tell.
That's all i can remeber now.
