Jeffrey Lewis Solo Acoustic UK Tour August 2006!
Hi all! I'm considering just hitch-hiking from show to show, since I'll be traveling alone!
But as always any offers of rides and/or places to sleep are much appreciated (and of course I'll pay for gasoline, etc)!!
I'll have some more details of support acts and venue info soon I hope.
Fri Aug 18 – Canterbury (tbc)
Sat Aug 19 – Leeds (Common Place)
Sun Aug 20 – Bradford
Mon Aug 21 – Galway, Ireland (Roisin Dubh)
Tue Aug 22 – Cork, Ireland (Princes St. Unitarian Hall)
Wed Aug 23 – Dublin, Ireland (Crawdaddy)
Thu Aug 24 – Birmingham (Jug Of Ale)
Fri Aug 25 – Sheffield (Polish Catholic Center)
Sat Aug 26 – London (Brixton Windmill, with Sgt. Buzfuz & The NY Howl!)
Sun Aug 27 – Leicester (Musician)
No french shows?? _________________ http://uberaffe.bandcamp.com |

Perhaps when his new album is released Stateside he'll be interested in making a return appearance to his alma mater? I hope. _________________ http://myspace.com/theimpossiblebuildings |

Quote: | Jeffrey Lewis & Seth Quankmeyer ov Dufus are considering putting together an October US tour, solo acoustic sets, doing house parties, club shows, kitchen gigs, etc - if anybody is able to organize shows like this anywhere in the US please contact weja5@yahoo.com ! The planning is in very early stages and all options will be considered! Thanks! |
Now that looks the tour to catch him on! |

I commiserate with you all. I was slighttly disappointed the tour isn't coming to Manchester, meaning I'll have to cross the pennines to Sheffield - not really a problem. And a gig in a Polish Catholic Centre sounds cool, I like weird venues, like the Klondyke Bowls Club where I saw Jeff for the first time. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/arhythmicnick |

this sucks, I fly out of the country aug 18th and I wont be back till Sept, Is there any of us that are actually going to be able to make these shows??!
Not that its jeff's fault it just seems to have worked out badly for all us die hards! lol
If any one does get along to a show i'd love to hear a recording, I haven't heard a solo show in ages and there may well be some new songs on display!
I hope you realise though Dav if he comes back later in the year to do the rest of Europe its gonna mean another road trip lol _________________
