Hi all!
I'm in NYC for a brief time, playing this Thurs night at midnight at Sidewalk (that's on Ave A & E 6th St in Manhattan for you non-local message-boarders) -
This will be a solo acoustic show though I may be joined onstage by mega-special guest Peter (Holy Modal Rounders) Stampfel! I had talked to Pete about maybe getting together on Thursday to try to collaborate on playing some music and I said I had a show that night, I wasn't sure if he was really intending to perform with me at the show - but I heard that he showed up and played the Antihoot on Monday so that bodes well for Thursday night to be a bizarre Jeffrey Lewis/Peter Stampfel set! Perhaps trading songs, or Pete backing me up on some stuff, I dunno! We'll be having our first "rehearsal" about 4 hours prior to the show (that's if this comes together at all...). Well one way or another I'LL be playing, and probably debuting a few songs.

Free admission but you'll probably be required to buy a drink or something...

After the show I'll be going downtown to play some songs live on WBAI's Radio Unnameable, though I might not hit the airwaves till 2 or 3 am.

My new comic book Fuff #4 is now available at Cosmic Comics (10 E 23rd St), Cakeshop on Ludlow, and Jim Hanley's Universe (4 W 33rd St)! Also out now is "Tapes From the Crypt", a 14-song CD compiled from my old cassette recordings 1997-2001. As always all this stuff is orderable online right here at Olive Juice!

Well, good news, the playlist for that session is up, bad new i reformat lately and i can't record the streaming, don't know why, there's 5 new songs and two covers, can anyone record it for all of us ?

I think you can do it using audacity.
Maybe you need 2 computers, using one as the line in. If you play it on one recording it on the line on on audacity on the other, it should work. I'll try that tomorrow, hopefully.

man, I wish I had remembered to bring my camera to the Sidewalk, but I don't have broadband, so I wouldn't've been able to share it till I got back to school anyway.

I hope that someone did manage to at least document it! Such a good show! I think he played a couple new songs with Peter Stampfel, but I don't really know.

Dav, you have to select the recording device, set it to wav/mp3, or to "what you hear". I know that your PC can do it. (hum... then, I should myself give it a try, maybe tomorrow)
