well, they're weirdly tuned so i think the key is somewhere between f# and G (we had the same problem with "red blue eyes" a few post ago), damn their silvertones.
i'm gonna make an inquiry, i'll let you know.

Remember that whole album is out of tune (down 1/2 I think), but the chords are:

Verse

G
C
(over and over)

Then for the second bit ("I should have written the code to your door..."):

G
Am
C
G

That's pretty much it.

thanks for checkin it out kieron. I think I am goint to experiment with african tunings a bit and see if that might be the ticket. glad to hear you like it! the incredible string band is truly incredible.

Hi Morgan,

Well, I'm still crap at tabbing! But have a try with a standard G chord, and slide it up and down the fret board. Not the barre chord, the open one. A bit like what Arlo Guthrie does in Alice's Restaurant. Not saying it's right, and I certianly can't tell you the exact tabs - but it may be a good starting place, perhaps. Let me know if it works or if you have worked it out!

Cheers, Kieron

I love playing Wave Pictures songs so I thought I'd post a few of them.

We Dress Up Like Snowmen

A----E----D----A
Over all the verses.

The 'you were sitting on my christmas tree' part:

F#m----------------------------------C#m
You were sitting on my christmas tree
---------------------------------------D--
And you were looking looking down at me
-----------------E--
Looking down at me

Untitled final song on the MoFo bootleg

I don't know a name for this one, but it's so much fun to play.

It's just the chords D---G---A---G repeated over and over.
