I saw Jeff and Jack supporting Adam Green last night at Oran Mor in Glasgow. Dead good night, the boys played The Singing Tree, Artland, They Always Knew, The Last Time I Did Acid Iwent Insane (request for a guy in the crowd), a couple of songs i hadn't heard before, one sounded like a Jack song, about kids being too young to be on tour, can't remember much about the other one. they also did a film i hadn't seen before about Jeff wandering about with his best friend who turned out to be a crow. The pictures were actually projected onto a screen - well a bed sheet tied to a bit of wood. the wonders of technology, eh. spoke to jeff briefly, he's tiny! Adam Green was a bit shite, as expected.

Hey choca, I was there too! Yeah, JnJL were ace, hey? They seem to get tighter and more confident each time (though Jeff still seems to feel a bit awkward at times). Had a super-quick word with Jeff, and had a slightly longer (though still short) chat with Jack, who actually recognised me! And he commented on my Yankees cap, hehe!

As for Adam, well, I've seen him a couple of times as part of the Moldy Peaches, so was quite looking forward to it. But then, he was just a bit of a drunken baboon (IMHO), though him playing What a Waster seemed apt!

it's a funny world when jeff's supporting adam green and not the other way round. jeff's set was great but. a wee bit frustrating that it ended so soon, especially since the first support act didn't play. they were pretty tight, i thought artland was magic and the drummer's whoosh noises during the singing tree cracked me up.

Thank you for the review guys, the Jack's song you mentionned might be "Kids on tour" and the video is "crow ballad".
Seems like a cool show !
