People came to hear him from afar

But Champion Jim had one enemy
A giant goon named Samuel Celery
They'd had a lifelong feud since they were nine or ten
Sam Celery and Champion Jim

Champion Jim was wittling with his knife
Sam snuck up behind to take his life
He shot a bullet that went right through his bone and skin
And it landed in the heart of Champion Jim

But Champion Jim was was so good
He carved himself a new heart out of wood
He wittled it down and hammered it right in
Just in the nick of time Champion Jim

Champion Jim was sleeping in his bed
Sam snuck in and sawed of both his arms and legs
Pushed him to the lake and tossed him in
To sink deep down to the bottom Champion Jim

Champion Jim was as good as dead Sam thought
Without his legs he couldn't kick like he ought
And without arms it would be difficult to swim
So Sam bid adeau to Champion Jim

But Champion Jim he wasn't done
He paddled back to shore just with his tongue
He lay in the sun until he was dry again
And he was almost as good as new Champion Jim

Well Champion Jim had to slightly change his style
But he learned how to play guitar just with his smile
And he could do most of the farmwork with his chin
And he did even better than before Champion Jim


There you go. I didn't have a better way to spend my sunday.
