The album track listing is now out:

The EVEN MORE Freewheelin’ Jeffrey Lewis

SIDE A:
01) Do What Comes Natural (4:23)
02) Movie Date (3:12)
03) DCB & ARS (2:46)
04) Sometimes Life Hits You (5:04)
05) Tylenol PM (5:1Cool

SIDE B:
06) Just Fun (2:19)
07) Relaxation (6:01)
0Cool Inger (3:3Cool
09) 100 Good Things (4:50)
10) The Endless Unknown (3:46)

I recognise nearly all the songs from the live shows over the last few years (the exception is DCB & ARS); although some now have different titles (Oh No Fuck That Hurts). I can’t remember Endless Unknown but apparently I saw it previewed at a solo show in Bristol in 2022. Looking forward to hearing the recorded versions.

The biggest surprise for me is the absence of Whose Soul Is This (And Why Is It Mine) - hopefully it will make the cut of the next record! Other songs that have been regularly played but not included (albeit some like Inger have been put out on the digital tape releases) are:

A hungover song (recorded for a BBC Radio session)
20 Dollar Wine
People Were Morons
Things that People give me
Black Thumb

This is to lead up to a question for Jeff: how hard was it to filter down the songs for the record? Given its been six(!) years since Bad Wiring - there must have been so many to choose between.

Yes especially since he does the yearly tapes through that which are an albums worth of material in themselves. Super productive Jeff and band. I’m going to buy the nicest version of this that they do, can’t wait for it.

Just spent the last few hours decoding the liner notes of bad wiring for the contest Jeff posted online to win a test pressing of the new album. Not an easy task! Did anyone else try?

Four bonus songs if you pre-order the album from Jeff or the UK label issuing the album over here. No song titles yet…

I hoped Got Off On The Wrong Foot would make it onto the album. It’s my favourite song off all the ‘tapes’. I’ve never seen any evidence of it being played live.

Do What Comes Natural is a great choice for album opener.

The album pre-sale with the bonus-track download ends March 18.
The 4 non-album bonus tracks that come only with the pre-sale are:
Closed Case
A Hungover Song
Whose Soul is This
The Only Thing Worth Knowing
These were all recorded at the album sessions but were left off the album.

Got mine through today, happy to have the new music to enjoy later on. Love the photo concept.
Hope everyone is doing well and you all get yours too soon.

Hi Jeff. I pre-ordered through Blang in the UK before March 18th, but haven't received the bonus tracks. Blang say they aren't handling the digital content for the release - how do I get the bonus tracks please?

Glad you got access to the digital bonus stuff. It's been tricky coordinating everything between the USA and the UK presales and everything! But I think it's working, mostly.
