When I started making up songs in the late 90s I would usually make a tape full of songs at least once a year. It was all from following the example of how Daniel Johnston had done it. All my 20+ years of recording songs I owe to Daniel!
Here's a tape of some stuff from 2023, for whoever might be interested.

Actually this one is a little bit fancier because on April 24, 2024 I had an opportunity to go into a NYC recording studio, with my full band, plus studio engineer Travis Harrison, and producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor), and we recorded and mixed 17 songs in one day!

Here's most of those recordings, plus some additional home recordings from 2023.

Have downloaded and listened to once, happy with the results as always!
I have the biggest pile of ironing to do this afternoon so I will play it again and keep getting to know these new songs so eventually I can sing along.
