Disclaimer: here in Wales are are under “one of the tightest lockdowns in the world” - no meeting anyone, no buying anything non essential, no travel, so I have had a bit of thinking time on my hands and listened to far too much JL, sorry for the randomness of everything!

I started thinking about a national federal reserve here in Britain and who might make the list if I was to rewrite the song.
I had a little think and decided on the rules for the people - they have to be household names or almost to make the song work, they need to be older but still alive, they need to be British.
Eventually came up with a few. Kate Bush, John Lydon, Mick Jones, Tom Jones, David Gilmour, Morrissey (only for his music, not the streak of gammon he has now become) or I’m not too bothered either way but some people would want Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger on there... I ended up coming up with so many I’ve forgotten now but it was fun. Anyone else got any favourites? Or want to do a list for their country? Maybe it’s only me that’s gone insane.... x
