I live in London while my partner is based in Paris so, after seeing Jeff at the Moth Club last weekend, we took the chance to see him again at the La Pointe Lafayette.
The venue was a basement smaller than many living rooms with around 50 people tucked inside. The support act John & Betty were excellent and worth a listen.
Jeff’s two sets were completely different and included many songs not aired in London. One of the best things about the live show is never knowing what you will hear even after 15 years of seeing Jeff play (was great ‘Had it All’ and ‘All the Birdies’ made an appearance this time).
Of the new songs ‘So Awesome’ was super catchy, ‘My Girlfriend Doesn’t Worry’ has some great lines and ‘The Disease’ already seems well known by the fans present.
