Did it really go over 4 months without anyone posting here?

Hmm, yeah, it's been a while, I often wonder what to do about the message board, it is such a nice place to keep lyrics and conversations and other topics, but it is also very out-dated for a way that people use the internet. Nobody really uses these kinds of message boards anymore, it seems, but it would also be a shame to lose all the information here, if Facebook (or something else) became the only connection.
I also need to update my own website, TheJeffreyLewisSite.com is still with the same design that it had for almost 10 years, it's really old and out of date, tho I still use it to put new information and tour dates and stuff. I want to make a new site but I don't want to lose the feeling and the content of the current site! Same for the message board. Getting left behind by technology...

That sure is pretty sad, but i got to agree with Jeff's statement, this place is from another time, i'm amazed it got so many people posting over the years and i'm kinda sad when i come every other day and see no new post. I got to say 'im also amazed that it hasn't been hacked as the security of these old boards are a joke nowadays.

Anyway this place is definitly (and maybe for a really long time) the best place for people to seek tabs, chords, all knid of info and maybe lurk for Jeff posts)
Most of the message board from this era (10 years ago) are dead since a long time.

this place IS the Jeff Lewis Wikipedia, only better looking.

I agree. I don't use facebook at all and when I do look at the Jeffrey Lewis facebook rarely I just feel stupid. I would post more but fear annoying everyone!

Hi there - I post very rarely, but although I use Facebook, too, I lurk quite often here as well. Found a lot of inspiration here, e.g. for new comics and music. Maybe it's outdated, but I love this Jeffrey Lewis Wikipedia Smile

and would be sad if it would not exist anymore... Thanks to all of you who put all that interesting stuff here!

geez its been that long? its still worth checking for when something interesting is posted.. cant think of a board that i still check up on.

Forums have interesting phases in their lives, most of them follow the same pattern... someone wrote it all down on a cycling forum that I used to post on.

I like this message board, I'm glad it's still around!

It might be nice to move the tabs and lyrics to the new website when that comes... I'd like to help out with that! Just don't know how to get started right now, as it's not really clear what best to convert it to...

It's weird how I prefer this forum for updates and such, but end up getting everything through facebook first since that's where I need to go to get updated on everything else too!
