I was wondering if people on the forum listen to this band or not? It is interesting to me in the sense that I feel that they are in some ways quite similar to Antifolk, yet seem to be (at least to my knowledge) not associated with that scene. It's something quite similar that seems to have developed parallelly and independently. Mostly it seems to be classified as "Folk-Punk".
I first came across their song "I love you" on youtube, through a ukulele cover version that someone had done and that I really liked (unfortunately it is not on there anymore). It had that unique Moldy Peaches-esque mixture of cute and crass with lines such as "But I'll take anything, and I'll take anyone // And I'll take an angry lesbian with a loaded gun // I'll take a whore with syphilis and gonorrhea too // But darling, I love you".
I started listening to their other stuff and mostly liked their 2007 album "People who can eat people are the luckiest people in the world" with songs such as "Rejoice" or "People II: The reckoning". The lyrics are quite interesting and catchy. Another song that I like is "This is why I'm hot".
What does seem to be very different from antifolk is the atmosphere at their concerts. If you look at videos of their live performances it sometimes feels like a genuine punk concert atmosphere, although on stage it's just two guys with an accoustic guitar and an upright bass.
What do you think of this band, of this style of music?

Here is another similar song from a different band:
