I got this recently and am slowly making my way through it. A hardcore alt-comics aficionado might say there isn't much new here, but surprisingly little of this I actually had in any form. Some of it I had read before (borrowed or read at friends' houses) but not owned. I think I must be the ideal target audience for this, but I'd be interested to know what others think of it. I'll say more when I've finished it.

It's actually pretty interesting IF you are a big big fan of a lot of the artists from D+Q, if you're not a hardcore fan it's usually just every few pages that are of interest. That said it had some exclusive longer comics from Joe Matt/Chester brown that were really good. |
