I came to really like this song with a little time, and I think I got most of it. Just a few doubts, any help is appreciated! My favorite line is "Oh if only it weren't true, if only you weren't you, with all that thread hanging loose".

"Thunderstorm"

Maybe just for now it's okay
I can get through the day
I can eat I can sleep

I might just take it for granted
I might just not have to panic
I might get let off cheap

Maybe it's all gonna pass
And be all over fast
Like it was all in my head

If I just look at my shoes
For distraction to use
So I just don't look ahead

Thunderstorm on its way
Thunderstorm (?) today

'Cause every mind is a mass
A massive thread from the past
That gets your head in (?)

Oh, if only it weren't true
If only you weren't you
With all that thread hanging loose

And the missing part of the quilt
The heart unfinished, unbuilt
The city seen through the crowds

Reading a map in the sand
Holding on with one hand
From the sea come the clouds

Thunderstorm on it's way
Thunderstorm (?) today

He read my lifeline and promised
That it spelled out abominates (?)
In my fingers and palms

Cursed, cause whatever I grab
It hurts to know I can't have
The perfect things I don't want

So I put my eyes in my pockets
I got two small crystal balls
And drop them into my sockets

To me at first the future looked clouded
Then I saw clearly and shouted
See, it's your doubt to be (?)

Thunderstorm on its way
Thunderstorm (?) today

i'm not 100% sure on this,

but in the chorus it goes:
thunderstorm, on its way
thunderstorm, hell to pay

and in the fifth verse:
that gets your head in a noose

all the rest looks okay idk :]

I hear "While from the sea comes the clouds"

"He read my life life and promised it spelled out a bomb it's in my fingers and palms" ( not sure of this).

The last line re: the future- "See, it's about to be," A more hopeful ending.

Yeah, it's kind of a joke that's not really explained well... you know when a mystic person looks in a crystal ball to see into the future, but they say "I currently can't predict the future, because I'm not seeing a clear vision of the future, it's just too cloudy in the crystal ball"... I thought it would be weird if that really WAS what was coming up in the future, like, it was about to get cloudy. So the cloudy view in the crystal ball is not obscuring the future, it's a clear view of a cloudy future.
