I'm trying to figure out if I can carry LPs on the UK tour... even if I can carry some, it won't be very many. I'll be carrying the new album, plus the usual assortment of comic books and stuff... If I tried carrying LPs, of Ones Who've Cracked AND of Manhattan, let's see... if I sell 5 LPs at each gig, with 19 gigs, that's basically 100 LPs to carry for the tour. Ugh. It's impossible! Maybe I'll just stick with carrying CDs and comics.
BUT supposedly Don Giovanni Records has international distribution, so the Cracked LP supposedly WILL be in UK record stores (the Manhattan LP should be in all record stores too). |

I was just going to ask about the CD being available. I will buy one there, I'm sure you must get a better mark up when the shop doesn't take a cut. Then you can write on it for me too. xxx _________________ You don’t put your life into your books. You find it there. |

So, I thought I let everyone know I found this in a badass record store called Josey Records in Kansas City when I was there for the holidays. Now, there is also a Josey Records next to where I live in Dallas. Josey Records in KS actually notified me when they had Manhattan in stock but Dallas couldn't even see it in their distribution list. So, my question for Jeff is, do you have a strong fanbase in KS or are they just a hip store? And apparently way cooler than the one in Dallas. It's great btw. |

Hmm, interesting! I really do want to get back to visit Kansas City because Schwervon are living there now and it would be cool to visit them and try to play some shows with them! Plus now I know there's a cool record store there! I wonder if Schwervon (Matt & Nan) know about that record store... |

I baught that LP at the Rennes gig a couple of weeks ago, along with the last time i did acid i went insane LP, both are sounding great.
the it's the one...bonus cd is really cool, a lot of stuff i have'nt heard before. I always had this strange feeling that it's not Jeff singing on three quarter moon, love the song, but the singing is quite different, i couldn't explain thought.
The exclusive download tracks for the last time... are also quite worthy.
Plus there are more comics to read compared to the cd versions.
I had forgot about the comic scavenger hunt, i try to find them all back in the days but i couldn't succed.
It's hard to follow Jeff comics anyway, apart for the fuffs, i always pop up on some new stuff i haven't read before, like on the new york time site or things like that.
I'm hoping for a LP version of city and eastern songs, yeah i'm never happy enough with what i got, aren't we all? _________________ http://uberaffe.bandcamp.com |
