Sitting in my room
Checking out the three-quarter moon
If I look at it with a squint
Swear that I can see the whole thing
Was listening to records but my turntable broke
Started to fix it but it started to smoke
So now it's pretty quiet and the sun is coming up pretty soon

If I start thinking about summertime
I'm gonna go right out of my mind
