I saw this on the internet and thought of this place, for some reason, after first thinking 'some people have too much time and money'.

Also I heard the Monks on the radio today, I am positive someone from here told me about them originally some years ago.
How are you all? Any news? I hope everyone is feeling as beautiful as you all are!

I love that house!
And I love that you heard the Monks on the radio, I wonder what show it was? Marc Riley, perhaps!
It's another wet snowy rainy day in NYC... I've got a few more days of mixing, and then my album will hopefully be finished... I have a few art jobs that I'm trying to get done, one job is to draw a burrito for a magazine in Texas, one is to draw a short comic for the new David Herman Dune album (Black Yaya), and of course I'm also trying to come up with some new crazy album art and design for my new album! I have some USA tour dates in April, just about 8 or 9 shows. I also just confirmed a show in Paris for June 13th, so maybe I'll do some other Europe shows around that time. The Paris thing is a folk festival with David Herman Dune and Julie Doiron and other people.
Also I'm doing some shows with Peter Stampfel in Ireland in September.
Maybe some other stuff in August too.
I'm booking so many tours at the same time, it's making me dizzy!
And that's the story from here in NYC... |

I'm not sure now, it may well have been Steve Lamacq actually. Either way it was like a nice connection to this place that I wasn't expecting.
I'm glad you like the house, it is a bit of a mad idea but I kind of like people that have mad ideas and go for it, maybe more people should be like it, or maybe that would make the world a lot more of a worse place.
It sounds like you have been crazy busy, but in a good way! Working hard at the things you love at least. Sounds like you need a secretary or something! Good luck getting everything done, I bet it will all be brilliant xxx _________________ Never trust a heart so bent it won’t break. |

I saw my big sister yesterday, and she told me that a teacher has written in an observation on her 5 and a half year old (my niece) - "Witnessed today telling another child that 'last night a zombie came into my bedroom and ate my brain' to which the other child asked if it hurt and she said no."
