I received the message board package! It's so great, i don't want to tell what's in it so i don't spoil the surprise but i can say it's really cool. The cd is great. we'll discuss it once every one got it.

Too bad I received this special stamp package from board member TheTotoroboy a few days too late to use these special stamps when I sent out the packages... TheTotoroboy sent me a bunch of stamps which have artwork from my website as the images! And they are real stamps that i can use to send stuff! Well maybe I'll use these stamps for the next mail-out... when ever that one is...

That was a kind gift, I think you should keep them for yourself really, at least don't waste them on me.
I had a good clean this afternoon and listened to the special mix cd, and I really liked it. My favourite one off of a first impression was the long political one at the beginning, but another 3 stood out too, so I will keep playing it until I have some more interesting thoughts...which might be a while, I know jack all about music generally, or anything really. But I do find that songs that didn't immediately grab me will do in 6 months time say. I guess that's because I still listen to actual albums as a work of art instead of some digital thing where you only ever play one song at a time, it means you get a chance to let things grow on you and not just automatically go for the greatest hits every time. Oh shut up Helen, I'm annoying myself now.

So grateful that the stamps actually arrived(after all that bouncing around in NY really freaked me out) Very Happy

any way you use them won't be a waste.
And I was also really pleased to get my package the other day! I love all the little pieces of art I get to decorate with, and got to listen to a little of the cd with my friends the other night. I'm actually really glad it wasn't any of Jeff's music on the cd (because I get to look forward to them on the next one,whenever that is). I really like the idea and hope there are many more to come, You could probably send me dirty ripped ticket stubs and I'd cry though, so maybe I'm just biased.

I think I sent out about 6 (and there was a 7th person who wanted to wait until I could include a copy of Fuff #10... but Fuff #10 is still not back from the printer, the shipment has been delayed... ).

Well 4 of the 6 have posted that they got theirs so I can only assume the others came through too. I'm sure person 7 will think it is worth the wait, they may have to avoid this though if they want it to be a full surprise.
I am looking forward to hearing the fruits of your recording studio, if you think it's good I will probably think it's perfect. Good luck with the rest of the recording. xxxx

Bit of a late reply, but I moved to Sweden now and the poster is a nice one to make the walls a little less white with. My other wall holds a map of Middle Earth. I still have to listen to the cd some more, I haven't had a quiet night in for listening to cds in ages! The first time I put it on it definitely had some interesting stuff on there.

In other news, I'm still looking for a record store in the area. I find Malmö quite hard to navigate, but ordering my cds at amazon would make me sad... I guess I'll have to look a bit better! It can't be that there's no record stores in the most cultural city of Malmö, right...?

I forgot to mention how great the artwork for the cd is. I was really thrilled by it, the strip is great and the message board look is really cool. I really enjoy the cool weird songs on it, making me realise, once again, that there always good music to discover, leading to even more cool music!
