I've never tried posting artwork on this message board, but I should!
Here's a recent drawing from a couple days ago, for this magazine called Collaborations or something like that... it's meant to go with an interview I conducted with Daniel Johnston recently, about his Space Ducks comic book and other stuff. I think it will be published soon, or online soon.
If this works I can try to maybe post regular updates from illustration jobs and art projects etc... Hmmm.... here goes...

No, it does not seem to have worked... let me try again....
The instructions to upload a picture take me to the ImageShack website, so I created an account there and uploaded my image there... but now I'm not sure how the image that i uploaded to the ImageShack site is supposed to end up here in my message board post where I want it.
Does this work if I use the ImageShack "link" info from their site? Here it is...

Okay, that link works, but I was hoping to find a way to make the image appear in the message board post itself... I wonder if that's possible. Anybody have any tips for this?
What if I try it this way:

It worked!!!!! That's my drawing of Daniel Johnston, for Collaborations magazine.
It's a whole new era for me!
I'll try posting another image in a separate topic...

Thanks! My usual method these days: draw it in black and white in my sketchbook, then scan it in and color it with photoshop. Color still feels a bit like a new thing for me, since 95% of my art has always just been black and white... but of course I color my comic book covers. ( And my illustrated songs, but that seems very different because the drawings are so big and I'm just using crayons to color those.)

Very nice you have been working hard.
I love colouring in, but I like pencils better than computers xx
