I just went to Desert Island Comics in Brooklyn for a book release/signing event, Jon Lewis was signing copies of his new "True Swamp" hardcover and James Romberger was signing his new "Post York" comic book (which comes with a blue flexi-disc record!). I bought both of them, haven't started reading them yet though...
Also went to "Action Burger", a really weird fast food place in Williamsburg that is comic book themed, all the tables have batches of old comic to read and the walls are covered with comic stuff! I didn't want to eat anything, just wanted to see it... it was worth a visit. On Grand St and Powers (they must have picked that street on purpose), I recommend taking a look if you're around there, it's weird! Plus they have some good arcade games there! I gotta go back and play some next time.
