My friend Julien Langendorff from Paris (frequent artistic collaborator with David Herman Dune) just invited me to be part of a poetry reading for his NYC art gallery show this Friday, so it looks like I'll be doing some sort of reading alongside a very interesting cast of other readers!
Fri, Feb 24 - NYC (agnes b. boutique) - THURSTON MOORE, JONAS MEKAS, GENESIS BREYER P-ORRIDGE and JEFFREY LEWIS do a free poetry reading from 6 - 8 for the gallery show/launch of Julien Langendorff's new book Black Mirrors and his solo exhibition Goddess Fuzz Fantasy. At: agnes b. boutique, 50 Howard St., NY, NY 10013. RSVP: Howard@agnesb.net / 212-431-1335.
I have no idea what I'll "read"... maybe I should just do a few a cappella illustrated songs/books since I already have them memorized... I wonder what those other folks are going to do! I think we each get about 20 minutes of performance time. |

Sounds exciting, shame it's a bit too far away for me xxx _________________ You don’t put your life into your books. You find it there. |

I enjoyed the write up, thanks for posting that, made me giggle. Glad to see TM is still as sexy as ever too. Good luck with the tax hun, rather you than me! xx _________________ You don’t put your life into your books. You find it there. |
