The web site was hacked and redirected you to some random spam sites, should be ok now.

What can we do to protect against this sort of thing?! Who would want to hack our poor innocent forum?!

Unfortunatly there's not much we can do to prevent attacks, i make a back up of the whole forum when i think about it.
I never get the hackers point, i guess they are just glad to hack anything.
Let's hope we're safe for now.

Whew, thanks for bringing it back! This forum has been a constant companion for the past 2 weeks and I was suffering from some serious withdrawal yesterday wishing I had bookmarked all the links that I've found on here. I wonder if there's a way to backup this board , there's so much valuable info here. Thanks again Dav, I can get back to my normal schedule of sleepless nights. =)

Yeah i make back ups from time to time (i'm gonna do one right away!)

I was scared that they deleted all of the files but they didn't.
