Scott!
I just got your cd today, that was quick! I got it at the same time as Jeff's new one, so I'll be cracking it open in about an hour.
It feels like Christmas, only better because my family isn't around and I'm not locked in a bathroom trying to slit my wrists. =P |

Kris! thanks so much for buying the cd, i hope you enjoy it. I just received the peter stampfel and jeff lewis cd yesterday and i've been listening non stop, not good news to hear that you received mine at the same time!

Hey Scott,
Really enjoying the album, there's a lot of great stuff on here! I've listened to it about 5 times today and now I've got "cloud fortress" stuck in my head. "Song for Erasto" is probably my next favorite, then "you're the abnormal". A couple of songs kind of remind me of Kimya Dawson, I can hear the JL influence too and one song sounds a lot like The Vaselines. Sorry, I'm terrible at giving reviews, but anyway- good stuff. Keep up the good work =)
(I hope that didn't sound condescending, and the influences may be way off, I know a lot of people don't like to be compared to other bands, but I meant it in a good way.) |

that's great! thanks for letting me know what you think. It's interesting to hear since i've never really listened to the vaselines, it's funny/cool to hear.
