so as i'm covering this and needed the lyrics anyway, i thought i might as well past them here!

Today
I woke to the news
that neil young was shot
and now was dead

I didn't cry
though I love
rust never sleeps

I read the newspapers for a week
but they didn't speak anything of his good deeds
I watched the line file past his coffin
not one black man among them

a canadian flag, covered the box
but I could still feel him inside
the wind blew and I got cool

I was still dressed for work
so I thought i'd go down to the service
I took a bus, I took a train
it was a long damn trip and then it started to rain

I saw skinner and some fans
they were singing songs in a band
I did not ask for an autograph,
no I didn't ask cos I wasn't impressed

I saw him play on july 4th
but he didn't set off any fireworks

yeah aha, wait to hear my polar bear lyrics, i got no idea what Jack sings sometimes but i sing it anyway.
