I read about this in the Guardian recently (http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/jan/16/downloading-music-spotify). Basically it's an application you download which looks a lot like iTunes, and allows you to listen to music. It's free, but you do get adverts playing (about once every thirty minutes).
There's a lot of music on there (although obviously not all labels have signed up) and generally it is pretty nifty. I'm currently listening
You need an invite to join (which I could give to anybody) though if you're from the UK the following might still work: tinyurl.com/spotifylink
At the moment I'm listening to some British skiffle from the 50s, which is one of my current obsessions. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/arhythmicnick |
