Attention Jeff scholars:
The word "fuff" is the sound made inhaling smoke through the mouth. It was first used in the earliest comic book Reflections, along with" Pfuff" (deriving from "puff" but more onomatopaeic.)
I used to think it was just a nonsense word made from "Guff". |
