Jeffrey was nice enough to put me on the guest list for the sold out with British Sea Power so I got to hear him fronting not a band but a tiny tape recorder and a small laptop for showing low budget videos on a screen.
The set list was:
1. Ramen
2. Dog Eat Dog
3. Whistling Past the Graveyard
4. History of Communism in China pt. 4 ( projected video)
5. I Ain't Thick It's Just a Trick ( Jeff's favorite Crass cover)
6. Art Therapist
7.Williamsburg Will Oldham Horror
8. Creeping Brain ( low budget video)

After the set I met Jeff at the merch table and got the new item, his self-produced live and radio versions of City and Eastern Songs called City and Eastern Tapes . I haven't given it my full attention yet, but when I have time I will listen closely and try to convey its wonderfulness.
Next, I had beer with Jeffrey. During the time of one beer, I learned a lot, including but not limited to-- what Big A , little A means (structured anarchism ( small units) vs complete, free form anarchism), how "humane" really refers to behavioral traits of animals, and what we call "animalistic" (e.g. war-like) is really native to human beings. I learned about a psych experiment which proved it's harder to kill someone if you have to go right up to him and do it. I heard a story about a baby who fell in a gorilla pit at the zoo and the gorilla took care of it and didn't hurt it. Nice Mother's Day tale.
I learned that in Maine the mice, abundant and aggressive, have no fear of humans, walk right up to you and look you in the face.
I learned that bedbug bites were once a sign of prestige because only the rich could live in dwellings warm enough to house them, and that New York is full of them and they're hard to get rid of. Hope I never see another in my life.
When British Sea Power started playing loud, Jeff went to the show and I went home so I could get up for work the next day.
What a beer! What a treat! What an evening! Thanks, Jeff
