Does anyone know if there are plans to publish the full set of Guff and Fuff in asingle publication? It's a bit frustrating not being able to buy a complete set as some of the titles are sold out. |

As far as I'm aware theres no plans to release it as a collection as its an on going project but Jeff is intending to get the out of print issues reprinted, hopefully by the next tour its just a storage issue at the moment, frustrating I know but they are worth the wait.
Personally I would love to see Jeff's old out of print comics( which you cant find anywhere and which Jeff doesn't plan to redraw & serialize in Fuff) collated into a graphic novel type book
while we're on the subject, my other dream purchase which I would love to see happen would be a complete works, guitar song book with tab and lyrics and alongside some of the songs(on an adjacent page) would be a cartoon depiction of the story ( like Jeff's lo-budget videos) - if not a complete works then maybe do one for each album though its probably a lot of work _________________

A lot of work, and there are easier ways to make a living - but hey, that's what Jeff is all about, isn't it...?
I think your suggestions sounds really good, but I've always thought it must be terrible to be a cartoonist. I've just read all of Joe Sacco's books in about 4 weeks, and it must have taken him 10-20 years to produce them. I'm hungry for more, but the only way he can speed up production is if he gives up sleeping, and even that wouldn't be quick enough for me... |
