Anyone heard this band? They're really good, sound like Lach, but with a full yeehah! kinda western band. Funny songs about the fucked-up-edness of certain aspects of America. Funny thing was, my Mum saw one of their CDs in a chairty shop, and becuase one of the tracks is entitled "What are we gonna do when the trees are gone?" she thought I'd like it. And she was right! WItty and sharp. i guess you could call it antifolk...

EDIT: Seems I should have read up on this. Jello Biafra is one man, and onetime member of the Dead Kennedys:

Not a onetime member Kieron, Jello Biafra IS The Dead Kennedys.

He's a really clever, great guy. In fact, I hear he ran for mayor of San Francisco or something in the last few years.

I only have the album with him and Mojo Nixon. But it's really good, and I can't quite believe my Mum discovered it either... she hates all the music I listen to!

I think he came to my town and spoke. He does speaking more than music I think. I haven't really listened to The Dead Kennedy's or him or Lach for that matter. I would really like to get my hands on an album from the latter...

i love the dead kennedy's. he also recorded 2 or 3 records with the great melvins.
