I'm sure all you US of A-ers know about this but anyway. Copied from the Olive Juice messgae board:

Friday December 7 - NYC - Anthology Film Archives (2nd Ave & 2nd St).
A special double-event!! First,(7:30 PM, 8 $) a screening of the great Holy Modal Rounders documentary film "Bound To Lose", coupled with the 8-minute "Godz Movie"! Introduction by Jeff Lewis.
The Rounders are featured in Jeff's "History of the Development of Punk Rock on the Lower East Side, 1950-1975" but more info exixts on Wikipedia.

Then (9 PM, 8 $) full live sets by Peter (Holy Modal Rounders) Stampfel and Jeffrey Lewis & the Jitters, with extra special guest pop-in by Paul (Godz) Thornton!

Jeffrey Lewis & Peter Stampfel will also be appearing on Bob Fass's Radio Unnameable show on WBAI on Thursday Dec 6 (the night before the Friday Anthology show). Radio Unnameable airs Thursday nights Midnight - 4 am so it'll be a late night!

I've already seen the movie twice and I'm not sure I'll have the energy to make it to the gig after a day of Christmas street vending in the cold, with a weekend of more of the same to endure.
