eh, well i suppose its kind of an alternative version I listened to the song recently and its not really the same as the way i do it. I can't really explain it, but if you give me a day or two I'll record a wee bit and post it somewhere so you can see what i mean. |

hey kieron, you can hear how i play travel light here
http://www.7161.com/~youngbrian
i just listened to it and realised i made a mistake, on the diane cluck verses you should do the descending bassline thing (or the jeff verses in the second half of the song.) the descending bassline thing is: A string 3rd fret, Astring 2nd fret, A string open, Estring 3rd fret. I think. I'm at uni just now making hand symbols in the air trying to remember it. let us know if you think it sounds anything like how it should! |

not sure if its right, but the chords i play for this are
G/Asus2/D/E7sus
these chords are easier than they sound
Asus2----------E7sus
e|0---------------0
B|0---------------0
G|2--------------2
D|2--------------0
A|0--------------2
E|*---------------0
and at the end of each verse it repeats the D rather than change to the E7sus |

[intro]
G Asus D E7sus x3
G Asus D
G Asus D E7sus
for basically the entire song, except sometimes it stays on the D a little longer at the end of a verse, instead of going to the E7sus
end chords are
G Asus D E7sus
We'll travel light and that's the life for us
G Asus D E
G
We'll travel light....
A D
and thats the life for us |

I was disappointed to see on the second video that they had credited it as a Laura Marling/Johnny Flynn cover! (I had to correct them in the comments). |

Thanks for posting that!
It's funny that the little girl knows who wrote the song but the person who uploaded it doesn't! |
