can you tell my copy of this fell through my letter box today?
I actaully cancelled seeing my girlfriend for lunch to listen to it and start wroking these out. oh dear, hopefully she understands.

Ive been playing this slightly differently, the intro/1st 3 lines is

E - D - A -E

and the verse is just

A - E


And the shit they get bit is

D

but thats just my take on it, sounds right when i play it though

I think you're right about the intro riff, but i think the verse riff does have a D just played once, like a passing chord.
Listening now i'm not sure if either of us are right about the "shit they get" bit but i can't decided which sounds nearest.

I know what you mean about the shit they get bit, sometimes i play it and it sounds spot on other times im not sure and i play about with D7 instead

you could be right about the D, I tend to play the guitar open for a beat between the chords as a passing chord but its so quick I hadn't even really realised i was doing it
