I posted this also on another thread but it should have it's own:
------------------------------------------------------------------------Sept.13 at Sidewalk NYC was unbelievable. The performance was so kick ass I hardly watched the videos sent in by fans in the background but I was busy filming so I couldn't pay complete attention . Finally got some decent video with someone elses camera so watch YouTube next week--I'll post the links. The Crass covers got a lot stronger since the Olive Juice performance. I never knew about Crass before Jeffrey so I am still amazed at these songs as well as his reworkings of them. Was good to see Jack there back from Oregon. He was in background and they did one of his songs at the end. Drummer Dave was wild with rhythm and Helen, came though with more strength, beauty and confidence . Jeff was his consistently excellent self , rattling off the rapid verbiage with precision and intensity befitting the content. A new issue of Fuff and CD single of the upcoming tour were new at the merchadise table. How lucky I was to be at the "rehearsal" of this new grand tour. If this was the rehearsal, I can imagine what the upcoming shows will be like. Videos to follow next week.Back to top |
