Hi all!
The Jeff Lewis Band will be arriving at London Heathrow on the morning of SundaySept 16 and heading immediately off to the End of the Road festival for our early afternoon time slot (also playing that day are Misty's Big Adventure, Herman Dune, and many others!). We were just gonna take a train from London to the festival (it's near Salisbury, not too far from London) but figured we'd ask if anybody might be able to drive us! Driver(s) would of course get festival passes for the full day (maybe we could even get a full festival weekend pass for ya? Not sure) and of course the Jeff Lewis Band would pay all gas and toll costs. Also we need to get from Salisbury to Bristol for our show there the next night, Sept 17, if anybody is able to drive us from Salisbury to Bristol (or even from London to Salisbury on the 16th then back to London to sleep on the night of the 16 and then from London to Bristol for the show on the 17?) . The End of the Road Fest is a camping thing, you might want to take a tent/sleeping bag if you plan to stay the night there.
(On Sept 17 we are flying from Bristol to Dublin for our Irish tour, so we're looking for a separate driver for the 3 days in Ireland... but that's a different story.)
To keep in mind - on this trip we are a four-piece band! Helen, Jeffrey, Jack and Dave! We will be carrying a guitar, a bass, and 4 big rolling luggage bags (but NOT a drum kit or amplifiers). This means we'd either need someone with a big car or a van or perhaps two people each with a car... well, lemme know if any of you are up for it! Even if you have only a small vehicle, it'd still be easier/cheaper for us to get you a festival pass and gasoline just to drive one or two of us in your car from Heathrow to the fest while the other two or three of us take the train (trains are pricey!).
