Found this on your tube, great video, Jeff solo
"Jeffrey Lewis is one of the most captivating performers today. He's got a lightning fast brain and lyrics fly around the room in a rave of social and anti social consciousness. This session was after The new York Anti Folk AllStar show at the Bamboo Room in Lake Worth Florida and shot by Neil London at Musified Project's David'K's studio in City Place West Palm Beach. we think there are more words in this song than ever recorded in any song ever. That was lovely.
It doesn't have quite as much impact when it's all acoustic
I don't agree.
Really? I just think you can see the progression more with the others.
Like, how he plays Waiting for the Man in a folky style, and then talks about the velvet underground going electric, switches on distortion and jack and dave join in. Although, even with no effects and just him, he can still show a pretty big difference between the two.
He does it solo better than anyone else could (although I can't think of anyone else who could play that song). _________________ myspace.com/frozymusic
