|
|
Has anyone got a (decent) video recording of the history of the Fall low budget video? A local bar is putting on a night of Fall songs, and it seems like there should be a viewing of this song for everyone - especially as these theme nights seem to revolve around playing and showing uber-obscure stuff.
Please?
Thanks! |

That's so great Dav!
If Jeff uploaded all his low budget videos like that one, on his site, we could make some great ones. _________________ myspace.com/frozymusic |

Wow. The quality of that vid was really great. How did you do it? What were the technical details? |

that looks great Dave,
I just figured out the basics of animation on photoshop, to put a moving image on myspace,
but I guess myspace doesn't allow big files.
but can you e-mail me that somehow?
I wanted to put an animation of jeff showing a book, but don't have the pics to do it. and I can't take them off of youtube.
did you add that laugh track? |

I used photoshop and an other software to add the sound, the song is a live take, the laughts were already on it, i got the pics from Jeff's website.
Too bad the lyrics are out of sync with the image sometimes but it was the best i can do.
I'm upping it to my ftp if any if you want the file, it's too big to transit via email, it's like 50 mo.
This was used for a Fall exposition in Berlin i think
@ Jack, i made a gif of Jeff flipping a book before, it's a gif that you can add on my space, i got to find where it is, if you want it. _________________ http://uberaffe.bandcamp.com

If i remember right i used xvid codec for the image and mp3 for the sound, i mixed it using a soft called virtua dub, the file is 50 megs large, i could have make it smaller but i like better quality even if the file is larger. _________________ http://uberaffe.bandcamp.com |

Thanks Dav.
Jack, if you're there, you can take stuff off YouTube with video capture software. I can do it on a Mac using Snapz Pro but I don't know what to do for PC. Dave must know.
How was the Mercury Lounge last night with Peter Stampfel? It was too cold for me to go out again. What was the set list? |

That's fantastic, Dav! Would it be possible to get a copy (of the youtube video) to pass on to this guy? |

I don't know if it's the same one as youtube is not liking me at the moment, but if you follow the links to dav's jeff ani, in the index there's this one:

PS: sorry dav for sneaking around your index but I like that vid & the animations I snagged. |

No worries, I just looked at the Jeff related stuff!
Question: which source did you use for the audio?
It sounds a lot like the nouveau casino show I was at (except I had some dude standing next to me with the most idiotic laugh I've ever heard)
