|
|
Today, Valentines Day. YouTube deleted my entire account because of complaint of copyright infringement by the RTBF (Belgian TV) against a subtitled Jacques Brel Video called Les Bigotes. The many Jeff videos I posted got swept away with the others. However, they still can be found on DailyMotion and on Google Video, most of them.
I haven't posted any videos on my new account, clairdelune49 ,instead of lightning49,and I see Vimeo has better resolution, so lots of people are going over there.
Hope you all enjoy them and grab them while you can, because there are idiots out there. |

Perhaps being kicked off YouTube is the modern equivalent of being banned from the Roxy. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/arhythmicnick |

This should warn all people who upload vids there to back up your files to disc as they are subject to sudden destruction without any warning. Here today, gone tomorrow, total indifference to all the work shared with them. I now know what assholes I was dealing with, and it's a shame and a disgrace that Belgian TV destroyed Brel on the Internet so they could make a few more dollars off his corpse. No wonder he left for Polynesia. But we still have Jeffrey. |

And you helped , Ema . It is still on DailyMotion and Google Video. 6 people have saved the Brel translations, including Amsterdam which you helped with, and reposted on their account. It would be cool if everybody would do that and we would overwhelm them. I am re-upping the non-superstar vids to a my YouTube account today. What a job! |
