Hello all, can you help me with this? I'm crap at remembering songs, so I need to practice more. I figured I could bring my guitar to work in my car and play it at lunchtimes, as there's never enough time in the evenings. Would it be ok? Would the cold and condensation kill it? What about in the summer when it's hot? It'll be tucked away in the boot...

Maybe I should just bring my cheap ukulele in instead...

bring your sheet of paper on stage when the song's got long lyrics.
you can always do the gibberish blah blah when you just forget one line.
guitar practice :i'd say each time you got a spare minute...even if you just play for 5 minutes...it has to become a weird habit...fill the void...you have to take the neck of your guitar (and play on it) something like 10 times a day...do lil' home shows for your girl !
i have no idea about the cold, heat and condensation...but it doesn't sound good for a wooden stick...so for a guitar...mmmm i guess it's not the best...but really i dunno.

get a guitar case with fur inside
and another one with an AC system for the summer
or maybe you can ask mtv's "pimp my ride" to make you a special car for practicing guitar
that could be great

Hahaha, very funny! That would be so cool, Tim Westwood pimping my little Peugeot to play acoustic guitar! Wonder how that'd turn out??

Why not take up busking? That way you get to practice your guitar in the fresh air and maybe make a cash as well.

I'm sure you would be far better than the busker I heard at lunchtime who was playing Christmas carols on a violin very badly. Whenever he got to a difficult bit he went really slowly, then sped up again.
