well, i didn't bought em, but it is always an surprise to explore the vinyl collection of my older sister and i found following records:

dj shadow - entroducing (n/a anymore and one of my all time faves, yeah!)
dave brubeck quartett - jazz goes to college (great for samples)
kruder & dorfmeister - g-stoned

and i bought these on CD
the new charlotte gainsbourg record named "5:55"
stereolab - oscillations from the anti sun

I saw Erik Petersen of Mischief Brew (from Philly) in Paris a few weeks ago & bought the 2 albums he had smash the windows & songs from under the sink. They've both been on repeat ever since.

He played a solo acoustic punk set which was pretty awesome (including all the mischief brew "hits": nomad's revolt, boycott me, devil of a time, roll me through the gates of hell & thanks bastards! + some cool covers: the day the nazi died by chumbawumba & bob's song by nofx).

The show was at la miroiterie (a squat in paris) with several other people playing (most notably: "the rodeo" aka the pretty girl from hopper, who's also playing this wednesday at the pop in with el boy die & leopold skin!) and a crowd of maybe 20 to 30 people (most of whom were friends with the first act "asthenia").

yeah, i had to re-register because i got infected by spyware & adware so i got rid of all my temp files & cookies. this meant that i lost my password (i never save these things). the new password that was automatically generated when i tried to log in again didn't work for unknown reasons...
i think my previous username was just "cas" (instead of the "new version" .cas. which was similar enough).
it' still me though!

Two purchases today in the charity shops of the town where I work, both LPs: 'Hypnotised' by The Undertones, and 'Hammond Organs Hits of the 60s' (which as you might guess is songs from the 60s played on the Hammond organ).

it was a solo tour & he spent most of october over here in europe (with Denise helping out with the merchendise stand & their tour manager gunner as well, so 3 of them in a van) in small venues. in paris he played in this artist squat called la miroiterie where they have live shows for unknown or unsigned acts. it was pretty cool: since there weren't a lot of people, he just sang IN the audience, walking around in front of everybody, like a modern day punk troubadour:
