I've gotten a few complaints from people, in the USA and in UK/Europe, about the slow delivery of the album. People who pre-ordered the record should get the album first, there's no reason for the delay, it's frustrating. I've gotten a few emails from people waiting, and I can only send the emails to the record label people to make them aware of the issue. I have been deliberately NOT selling the LP/CD from my own website because I'm too busy to do all the website orders... it's better for me to let the record labels handle all the orders, that's what the labels are for anyway! That's Don Giovanni Records in the USA/Canada/Australia, and Moshi Moshi Records for UK/Europe.

Gutted, it’s worth the wait dav!
All I can say is mine came through strait away no problem. I’m gutted that red vinyl is gone, I’m going to try and track down a copy.

Got my copy today, pretty red one. The songs are great. Thé artworrk is juste incredible. I also love the guitar chords and effects with the lyrics. The stickers are also a nice touch

Oh no! Hopefully they can replace it if they’re not all gone x

Got my head back into the world of Jeffrey Lewis for the first time in a long time. Immediately ordered the CD (had completely forgotten about vaguely knowing something was coming up). Waiting for the physical CD to arrive, this was the first time I listened to a new CD without having the case and booklet in my hand! Pretty neat though that I did not have to wait - my local CD store couldn't easily order the CD so Bandcamp is a good alternative.

I'm very excited that there's MANY shows (4, with 2 more TBA that might be nearby as well) planned at easily drivable distances from where I live next tour. I'm going together with my dad to one show, trying to see if I can catch another one.

Loving the CD so far. Still getting used to that lo-fi sound that I was so used for for a long time but haven't been listening to as much lately. It's weird how Jeff can make such catchy tunes that hit real life things right on the nail, with such simple sound. Impressive.

From the first 4 days of listening, my favourites are currently LPs (makes me dance like crazy), Dogs of My Neighbourhood and Except For The Fact That It Isn't. It's always the high energy songs that get me first, and then over many listens I start to gravitate to the calmer songs. I already like the vibe of Exactly What Nobody Wanted (typical Jeff song comforting my crazy ambition/fear of failure) and just the atmosphere of In Certain Orders. Can't wait for the next x dozens of listens Very Happy

Hiya mate, how are you doing? Glad you are enjoying the new album as much as I am! I actually have a little review thing in my notebook I should type up and put on here, one day soon! Fingers crossed you get some live show tickets and have a great night out. X

I’ve been caring for my dad this week while my mum is holidaying in Australia. He’s a sweet 73 year old man who has played guitar for 60 plus years. My childhood involved lots of strumming and singing sessions together and my dad would play me all the old songs he loved growing up and teach me about all the mad times he had in the 60s and 70s in bands and festivalling before he settled down. Of course, as the owner of quite a few of the featured albums on the Llps I showed him the video. He loved it. I think he was most happy to see Captain Beefheart and a record he’d forgotten how much he once loved x

When listening to lps I had a memory to when I was young, buying a copy of Bob Dylan’s the freewheelin for a solitary British pound. When I got it home and opened it up, in the packaging was what looked like bits of cannabis where someone had obviously rolled a joint and stuck the record on. It always made me smile as it gave the record some history and who hasn’t had a smoke and listened to Bob Dylan?! I also love it when you read second hand books and find something the last person used as a bookmark like a receipt. Have your second hand gems ever done the same? X

Been watching through the bbc 4 series Sounds of the Sixties, so many cross overs to the lps video, and similar art work. Well worth a watch if you’re that way inclined, I expect it’s on you tube. Some amazing clothes and haircuts!

I think I might have seen some of that BBC series, just randomly when in the UK some time... unless it was some different similar show... sounds up my alley though!
