Might try to see Nick do his early-Floyd stuff in NYC if tix aren't too outrageously expensive (or sold out immediately!). I think the show's in April. |

Eeeehhhh, never mind, looks like the "cheap" $65 tix are gone and cheapest tix are like $100. Maybe I'll just go there on the day of the show and see if I find a cheap ticket, who knows. |

Buy a ticket. You might regret not getting one. I don't expect they'll be touring for long so it might be your last chance. Its a good show, so probably worth the extra $35 for a guaranteed, better seat.
I saw them in September, and decided on the strength of that to get a ticket for another show next year. They played a good mix of tunes, some obscure stuff (Vegetable Man) and some more familiar tunes. There was some nice chat between the songs; at the gig I saw, Nick said the last time he performed in this town was 50 years earlier alongside Hendrix and the Move. The band seemed to be enjoying it and it showed. |

Wow, thanks for the encouragement! You're probably right, I should just try to get a ticket. To quote Iggy Pop, "who will remember the money you saved?" |

Did you see the NY show?
I went to another UK show and got a standing ticket. It was a much better experience with a great view and sound. There was an older audience than I had perhaps expected, but it did mean everyone was well behaved. I could stand at the front without getting crushed or moshed. Pretty much a perfect evening. |

I did NOT see the NY show... I think I was away on tour at that time anyway. But I'm really kicking myself for missing it... especially since Roger Waters showed up as a special guest on stage that night!!! |
