Might try to see Nick do his early-Floyd stuff in NYC if tix aren't too outrageously expensive (or sold out immediately!). I think the show's in April.

Eeeehhhh, never mind, looks like the "cheap" $65 tix are gone and cheapest tix are like $100. Maybe I'll just go there on the day of the show and see if I find a cheap ticket, who knows.

Buy a ticket. You might regret not getting one. I don't expect they'll be touring for long so it might be your last chance. Its a good show, so probably worth the extra $35 for a guaranteed, better seat.

I saw them in September, and decided on the strength of that to get a ticket for another show next year. They played a good mix of tunes, some obscure stuff (Vegetable Man) and some more familiar tunes. There was some nice chat between the songs; at the gig I saw, Nick said the last time he performed in this town was 50 years earlier alongside Hendrix and the Move. The band seemed to be enjoying it and it showed.

Wow, thanks for the encouragement! You're probably right, I should just try to get a ticket. To quote Iggy Pop, "who will remember the money you saved?"

Did you see the NY show?

I went to another UK show and got a standing ticket. It was a much better experience with a great view and sound. There was an older audience than I had perhaps expected, but it did mean everyone was well behaved. I could stand at the front without getting crushed or moshed. Pretty much a perfect evening.

I did NOT see the NY show... I think I was away on tour at that time anyway. But I'm really kicking myself for missing it... especially since Roger Waters showed up as a special guest on stage that night!!!
